Halifax BID (Business Improvement District) is an independently run non profit creating projects to breathe a new lease of life into Halifax town centre. A huge part of their success is the festive season, the retail golden quarter of the year. With the holiday season around the corner, the BID team wanted to adapt their new brand and inject it with some Christmas joy.

The aim with the Christmas brand is to support the flock of festive activities organised by the team – all they want for Christmas is to support local businesses and encourage shoppers to visit their local town centre. Hold on to your bobble hats everyone…
The Halifax BID Christmas brand came rolling into town like only the Coca Cola train can, wrapping the centre in energy and excitement! We utilised their original brand to ensure consistency in typography and style, and developed it into a seasonal delight by adding some very graphical geometric patterns that would fill their marketing materials with festive fun and energy.
Outdoor media became covered in festive cheer across the town to get the message across, alongside digital channels and printed media in an extensive multi channel campaign. The idea was to motivate people to visit the town and celebrate the holiday season together – the result was a new buzz of activity and merrymaking in the town that will be remembered for years to come.
